On January 10, three prisoners including a woman were transferred to solitary confinement in Orumieh Prison to await the execution of their death sentence. At the same time, at least 12 prisoners in Karaj Prison and six prisoners in Rajaie Shahr Prison were transferred to solitary confinement for execution.
These sentences will reportedly be carried out after the weekend.
Some of these prisoners have been identified as Naser Soltani, Mohammad Rassoul Hashtiani, and woman from the Women’s Section.
