Iran: Christian convert on hunger strike in prison

Amin Afshar Naderi, a Christian convert from Islam, went on hunger strike in Tehran’s Evin Prison, protesting his uncertain conditions.

He was arrested seven months ago along with four others in a private garden in Firouzkuh, northern Iran, for seeking membership in a house church.

He has been imprisoned for seven months for no legitimate reason, and a public prosecutor has refused to send his case to court, according to relatives.
