Iran denies Sunni inmate access to medical care, threatens family
Hamzeh Darvish, a young Sunni inmate in Tehran’s Evin Prison, is suffering from a disease and needs medical care.
When transferred to a hospital he was severely beaten and insulted by one of the hospital staff and two guards.
Authorities are not responding to his complaint in this regard and deliberately deny him medical care.
This prisoner’s family has been threatened by Iran’s Ministry of Intelligence not follow up on their son’s case.
