3 caught stealing in Tehran, have been demanded to have hands cut off, according to reports.
Tehran’s public prosecutor demanded 3 men accused of theft, to have their hands cut off, on Sunday, in a court headed by Hossein Asgharzadeh.
The main accused in this case stated that he committed a heist to pay the blood money he was charged before.
Iranian law continues to allow internationally banned corporal punishments, including amputation, stoning and flogging and claims to justify it in the name of protecting religious morals.
