At Least 200 Baha’i shops sealed in 2016 only for shutting down the premises on Baha’i religious holidays.
This attempts by Iran’s authorities to prevent Baha’i shop owners from observing their holy days on a few days of the year, is an act which violates international human rights norms.
Dozens of Baha’is’ shops have been sealed by Iran’s authorities across the country during the past years, when the owners closed their stores in observance of Baha’i holy days.
