Iran: Two prisoners transferred to the solitary for execution

Two inmates have been moved to solitary confinement in Kermanshah’s Dizelabad Prison, west of Iran, for execution in the coming days on alleged drug-related charges.

Authorities transferred these prisoners on February 2nd to  solitary for execution. However, they were returned back to their cells on February 4th.

One of those prisoners has been identified as Mohammad Krim Azizpanah, 43, a father of two.

“He is a taxi driver, not a drug offender, and was arrested on his way to Kermanshah but never came back,” according to relatives.

The other prisoner is identified as Hamid Reza Ribaz, 35.
