At least three inmates in Karaj’s Gheselhesar Prison, west of Tehran, by the names of Isa Charami, Mostafa Ghorbani and another inmate whose identity remains unknown, along with two others in Garmsar Prison, southeast of Tehran, identified as Parviz Nedaei and Bahram Moradgholi, have been transferred to solitary confinement, in preparation for their executions, based on drug related charges.
Isa Charami, has been sentenced to death for smuggling 200 kilograms of opium.
Parviz Nedaei and Bahram Moradgholi, have been sentenced to death, without a previous criminal record, for the same charges of smuggling 820 kilograms of drug.
