Iran: Sunni prisoners placed under pressure, insults
Authorities have reportedly escalated repressive and insulting measures against political prisoners in Zahedan Central Prison, southeast of Iran.
On April 15th, prisoner of conscience Mohammad Kalkali who is popular among other prisoners as he is a Sunni liturgist, was summoned by one of the IRGC members named Rasti.
He shaved the beard of the Baluch cleric, disrespecting and degrading him.
Rasti told the warden has ordered to insult this renowned individual.
It is worth noting that on April 10th, a political prisoner who suffers from epilepsy, kicked an IRGC member named Mohsen Khaje while he was in convulsion.
Mohsen Khaje filed a complete against the 25-year-old Hayatollah Notizehi and transferred him to solitary confinement to serve 20 days in quarantine ward despite his dire physical conditions.
