Iran: Two Baha’is were summoned, their houses inspected
Four Ministry of Intelligence agents inspected the houses of two members of Baha’i community in Fars Province, northern Iran, confiscating their personal property including their books, photos and electronic devices.
The two Baha’is Parsa Sheikhi, 21, and Mehran Mosalanezhad, 19, were told if they received a phone call by Ministry of Intelligence in the next five days they should introduce themselves to Ministry of Intelligence detention which is known as No. 100, according to an informed source.
the two summoned are sentenced to “affiliation to Israel,” however they have still not been shown their charge sheet.
persecutions and pressures on members of Iran’s Baha’i community including arrests, inspecting their houses, seizing their shops and depriving them from higher education have significantly been increased in recent months.
