The First Deputy of the Chief Justice of Iran said during a press conference on June 20 that “if someone was a member of a group and that group uses the term armed activities against the government, until the Centrality of the group remains and is armed, all the members of the group are considered Mohareb, who had waged war on God.
“All the members even those unarmed are considered Mohareb,” Gholam-Hossein Mohseni-Eje’i said.
“The punishment for a Mohareb varies between execution and leg amputation”, he added, according to the state-run Aria News website, June 20, 2017.
