Political prisoner Saied Shirzad was hospitalized after becoming unconscious on his 37th day of hunger strike.
He started his hunger strike on December 7, 2016 in protest to Rajaie Shahr Prison’s “unsuitable condition, insults and unsuitable behavior of agents, officials not accepting letters of hunger striking prisoners, arresting prisoners’ family members in the visiting hall, not sending prisoners to the hospital, and beating political prisoners”
