Political massacre in Iran; 3,000 protesters killed and the Imminent Risk of Mass Executions

January 13, 2026
FacebookTwitterEmail

The nationwide uprising of the Iranian people, which began on December 28, 2025, has reached a critical turning point in terms of the scale of suppression at the end of its second week. The Islamic Republic regime has initiated a new phase of confrontation against the collective will of the people through a combination of “Digital Terrorism” and “Explicit Orders for Suppression.” This report documents how these orders have culminated in a massacre, Systematic, State-Led Crimes Against Humanity, creating a chain of atrocities spanning from the streets to the gallows.

1. State Mandates for Mass Slaughter: Evidence of Criminal Intent in Committing Crimes Against Humanity

Official documents and evidence confirm a deliberate blueprint and a direct chain of command, proving that the slaughter and suppression of protesters is not incidental, but a definitive State Policy mandated from the highest echelons of power:”

  • Decree of Ali Khamenei (January 9, 2026): In an official speech in Qom, he labeled protesters as “mercenaries” and “harmful elements,” explicitly stating: “There must be no retreat whatsoever in the face of vandals… the security forces must be present in the field with full authority.” (Source: IRNA News Agency and Khamenei.ir website)
  • Judicial Directive of Gholam-Hossein Mohseni-Ejei (January 9, 2026): Immediately following the Supreme Leader’s speech, the Chief of the Judiciary ordered judges: “Issue deterrent sentences and the harshest punishments with maximum decisiveness, without observing any legal leniency.” (Source: Mizan News Agency)

2.  Internet Strangulation: Establishing a “Kill Zone” and Blinding the World to Guarantee Impunity

By enforcing a total international internet shutdown, the Iranian regime has effectively entered the phase of “Operations for Slaughter.” Far exceeding mere censorship, this act is a systematic effort to blind the global eye and eliminate eyewitnesses, enabling repressive forces to massacre protesters within a “Quarantined Information Black Hole” without fear of documentation or legal repercussions. This absolute blockade effectively transforms the geography of Iran into a “Kill Zone,” where the regime can execute the bloody mandates of January 9 with total confidence in its evasion of international accountability.

Final Warning: Total Communication Blockade and the Declaration of War Against Truth. Field reports as of last night (January 11) confirm that the Iranian regime, following the failure of satellite signal jamming, has utilized advanced electronic warfare technology to completely sever access to satellite internet (Starlink). Beyond a mere security measure, this act underscores the Islamic Republic’s sinister intent to materialize Khamenei’s orders for an “Absolute and Bloody Massacre” behind the black veil of internet strangulation. By blinding the final window through which the Iranian people could reach the world, the regime has effectively engineered a “Silent Slaughterhouse.” This total digital siege is an inseparable part of a criminal strategy to transform Iran into a “Dark Killing Field,” where the FARAJA and IRGC death squads can operate with maximum brutality, ensuring the cries of the victims remain unheard and undocumented.

3. The Order of Mass Slaughter Across 195 Cities: Evidentiary Documentation of Crimes Against Humanity and Political massacre Under Ali Khamenei’s Command

Documentation gathered via Iran HRM sources including field data from hospitals, cemeteries, and credible sources in 195 cities—confirms a “Targeted and Widespread Slaughter” that meets all legal criteria for the crime of “Extermination.” Based on this evidence, the death toll from December 28 to January 11 has surpassed 3,000 killed. The highest density of reported killings has been documented in the provinces of Tehran, Kurdistan, West Azerbaijan, Sistan and Baluchestan (Zahedan), and Khuzestan.

The sheer scale of casualties within this brief window reveals a “Pattern of Crime” achievable only through Centralized Command and the deployment of war-grade weaponry against civilians. Furthermore, the regime’s broadcasting of victims’ bodies and its attempt to shift blame onto the opposition is not a media error, but a calculated “Cover-up Protocol” designed to shield the superior (Khamenei) from criminal responsibility. This evidence demonstrates that we are not witnessing isolated incidents, but an organized “Political massacre” aimed at the physical elimination of protesters.

4. Summary Executions; Transferring the Massacre from Streets to Solitary Cells

Leveraging the “inaction” of the international community, the religious dictatorship in Iran has activated its execution machine on an unprecedented scale. The objective of these executions is to implement a strategy of “creating collective terror and horror,” exhausting the resilience of families, and diverting public attention from the uprising toward the gallows. These executions, occurring at an average rate of one every 2.5 hours, now serve as an annex to the January 9 suppression order.

The regime’s execution machine has been accelerated at an unprecedented pace to solidify its “Strategy of Terror.” This component of the atrocity is built upon three primary pillars:

  1. Political Executions: Issuing death sentences for detained protesters under fabricated charges of “Moharebeh” (Enmity against God) and “Efsad-fel-Arz” (Corruption on Earth).
  2. Targeting Women: Utilizing capital punishment against leading women of the uprising to shatter the symbols of resistance.
  3. Fundamental Violation of the Right to Life: Arbitrary deprivation of life through summary, minutes-long show trials.

From a legal perspective, these executions are not judicial proceedings but “Systematic Extrajudicial Killings.” Given the total deprivation of the right to a fair trial and legal defense, these death sentences are, in reality, a continuation of the “Order of Extermination” issued by Ali Khamenei. The expedited execution of these sentences constitutes a clear Crime Against Humanity; the regime has weaponized the “legal institution” as a tool for mass slaughter to physically eliminate political dissidents.

Total Executions in 15 Days: 143 Prisoners (Average of one execution every 2.5 hours).

5. Enforced Disappearances and Systematic Torture: The Detention of more than 3000 Protesters Under Information Blackout

During the recent uprising, the Iranian regime has arbitrarily detained more than 3000 individuals across 195 cities. Reports received from Iran HRM sources indicate the extensive transfer of detainees to secret detention centers and security warehouses, where they are being held in a state of ‘Enforced Disappearance.’ By severing prisoners’ access to their families and legal counsel, the regime has paved the way for brutal torture aimed at extracting forced confessions. These mass arrests are not mere policing actions but an organized crime against human security, designed to inflict social paralysis and provide propaganda material for the state media’s fabricated narratives.”

“From the perspective of international law, holding 3000 people in unofficial detention centers without due process constitutes a clear Crime Against Humanity. This volume of arbitrary arrests, coupled with the deliberate deprivation of fundamental fair trial rights, demonstrates the regime’s intent for the physical and psychological elimination of a protesting generation. The perpetrators of these arrests and the torturers stationed in secret facilities are directly positioned within the Chain of Command for crimes against humanity.

The horror of this situation is compounded by the recent inflammatory remarks of Gholam-Hossein Mohseni-Ejei, the Head of the Judiciary. By branding the detainees as ‘hostile elements and foreign agents,’ he has explicitly ordered judges to ‘issue deterrent sentences [death penalty] without leniency and in the shortest possible time.’ This direct mandate from the highest judicial authority is nothing less than a license for a new massacre. Given these directives, the world is now facing the imminent threat of a ‘Massacre of 3000 Detainees’—a crime that would replicate the 1988 carnage on a significantly larger and more catastrophic scale.

Most catastrophically, a significant portion of these 3000 detainees consists of children and minors under the age of 18. By transferring these children to security detention centers and subjecting them to torture, the Iranian regime has effectively entered a phase of ‘Judicial Child-Killing.’ Given Ejei’s mandate to issue death sentences without leniency, hundreds of children and adolescents are at imminent risk of execution. This is not only a flagrant violation of the Convention on the Rights of the Child but a stain on the conscience of the international community. The regime is preparing for the mass slaughter of hundreds of Minor Protesters and Juvenile Detainees,’ seeking to secure its fragile survival by spilling the blood of

5. Critical Prison Conditions: Absolute Isolation and the Engineering of Secret Massacres

According to verified reports from “Iran Human Rights Monitor,” as of January 9, 2026, coinciding with the general order for suppression, the regime has completely severed all telecommunication lines in prisons nationwide. This state of Incommunicado Detention is a precursor to a humanitarian catastrophe behind prison walls.

Strategic Objectives of the Information Blackout:

  • Bloody Suppression of Internal Revolts: Preventing the leakage of news regarding prison uprisings, such as the Dizel-Abad Prison revolt in Kermanshah (January 10), triggered by the wave of executions.
  • Cloaking Torture and Atrocities: Creating a “safe zone” for interrogators to inflict brutal torture and carry out secret executions without civilian oversight or family notification.
  • Paralyzing Legal Defense: Absolute deprivation of access to legal counsel and families effectively nullifies the right to defense, placing detainees in a state of “Medium-term Enforced Disappearance.”

Violation of International Standards and Nelson Mandela Rules: These actions constitute a flagrant violation of the “Nelson Mandela Rules” (UN Standard Minimum Rules for the Treatment of Prisoners) and Articles 3, 5, and 9 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. By transforming prisons into “isolated dungeons,” the regime is deliberately violating the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights (Articles 9, 10, and 12). Given Ejei’s recent directives, this total isolation serves a single purpose: Technical preparation for the massacre of more than 3000 detainees.

6. Urgent International Action: Red Alert to Stop Political Genocide in Iran

What is currently unfolding is a ‘Systematic Crime Against Humanity,’ initiated by the direct order of Ali Khamenei, judicially orchestrated by Mohseni-Ejei (Head of the Judiciary), and executed by the killing machines of the IRGC and FARAJA.

With 3,000 martyrs and more than 3000 detainees recorded, the world is facing a ‘Great Massacre’ aimed at the total destruction of a protesting generation. Silence in the face of this systematic crime against humanity is tantamount to complicity. The international community possesses the power to stop this slaughter and torture; it is now time to find the will to do so.

Urgent Appeal for Global Responsibility: A Moral Imperative to Act

  1. Immediate Referral to the UN Security Council: Formal recognition of the ‘January 9 Decree’ as conclusive evidence of intent to commit political genocide and crimes against humanity.
  2. Halt the Execution Machine: Unprecedented and comprehensive diplomatic pressure to annul the death sentences of the 3000 detainees who are at imminent risk of a massacres under Ejei’s directives.
  3. Intervention to Break the Prison Siege: The immediate dispatch of an international fact-finding mission to the 195 affected cities and secret detention centers to save the lives of those subjected to enforced disappearance.
  4. Universal Jurisdiction: Issuing international arrest warrants for Ali Khamenei, Mohseni-Ejei, and commanders of the IRGC as the primary architects of this massacre.
  5. Ending the Digital Siege: Immediate provision of satellite internet to break the digital blockade and amplify the voices of a people trapped within a ‘Killing Zone’ without communication.”
