Iran arrests 32 online activists

32 Telegram social media channel managers have been arrested based on an arrest warrant issued by the justice department of Hormozgan Province, south of Iran.

16, 000 Telegram channels are also blocked, Iran’s minister of the so-called culture and Islamic guidance announced.

Dozens of activists remain behind bars, while new arrests and prison sentences for online activists are continuously reported. These are all in violation of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
