Mehdi Rajabian, an artist imprisoned in Tehran’s Evin Prison, is suffering from MS. Hossein Rajabian, his brother and also in Evin Prison, is suffering from kidney illness. Both have been denied medical treatment and furlough.
Judicial authorities have also denied them access to a lawyer, demanding televised confessions on state-run television.
Under such pressures and threats, the brothers were forced to confess to alleged crimes, according a reliable source.
Despite emphasizing in court about being forced into such confessions, their remarks were used as evidence in court.
