Iran sets heavy bail for political prisoners’ release
Mulavi Nouradin Kashani was arrested on August 7th, 2013 on his way back home after morning prayers at a mosque in Zahedan, southeast Iran.
He was tortured by Ministry of Intelligence for some time imprisoned in Zahedan Central Prison afterwards and held in limbo for the past three years.
A court judge demanded heavy bail for his release. However, his case was referred to special clerical court of Mashhad, which is against the Sunni religion.
His case was then referred back to the Zahedan judiciary and a new order was issued demanding heavy bail for his release.
