On Tuesday morning two death-row prisoners, Golmohammad Kiazehi and Mehrdad Vazifedad, were sent to the gallows in Zahedan Central Prison, southeast of Iran.
Golmohammad Kiazehi and Mehrdad Vazifedad, who had spent several years in jail for alleged “murder”, were transferred to the quarantine section and scheduled to be executed along with three other inmates.
Execution of the latter three, however, were delayed just hours before the scheduled timing.
