More than 9 years after a middle aged woman and her brother were charged with murder, they have been re-tried and sentenced to death. However, they have continuously denied any involvement in the crimes.
They were tried in branch 10 of Tehran’s Criminal Court chaired by judge Ghorbanzadeh who sought the death penalty for the two.
