Afghan native in Iran tortured before execution

In the early morning hours of Thursday an Afghan native in Zabol Prison, southeast of Iran, was hanged for alleged drug offenses.

Mohammad Nabi Alizehi, 35, an Afghan native who imprisoned for six years, had been reportedly brutally  tortured before his execution.He was ordered to have his hands and feet cuffed to iron bars, left out in cold weather and starved until his execution.

In many other cases, death row prisoners in this facility have been tortured, being chained and starved before their executions.
