Two juvenile offenders sentenced to death in Sistan and Baluchistan

The death sentence for at least 30 prisoners in the Central Zabol Prison in Sistan and Baluchistan was confirmed by the Supreme Court. These 30 prisoners were convicted of crimes such as murder, drug trafficking and abduction. Two of these prisoners identified as Shah Qasem Geleh Bacheh and Vali Yousef Zehi were under 18 when arrested and both have been convicted of drug related charges. There are about 60 prisoners with drug related offenses in this prison and mostly all of them have been sentenced to death.
At least 90 prisoners, who were under 18 when arrested, are on death row in Iranian prisons.
