Iran: Male photographers banned from weddings

The head of the Photographers and Cameramen Union said that companies that work under the supervision of this union are not allowed to send men to take photographs of weddings.
Speaking to the state-run ISNA news agency Manuchehr Bastani Moghari said on July 7, 2017, “According to existing rules, wedding photographers have to be women and all companies should follow this rule.”
“Even when the photographer is showing samples of her work, she can only show the pictures to the bride and the ladies,” he added.
