Iran: Four more executions on drug charges

The Iranian regime hanged a prisoner on Sunday, July 23, 2017, on drug related charges in Miandoab City Prison. The executed prisoner was identified as Mehdi Saki, 33, married from the city of Dorood, in Lorestan province. He was arrested in 2013 for possessing drugs and had been held in Mahabad Prison (Iranian Kurdistan). He was transferred to Miandoab Prison in November 7, 2016 for implementation of his death sentence.
Three other inmates were hanged in Isfahan Central Prison.
The victims are identified as Mohsen Abdi, Javad Mir and an Afghan national identified only by the name Habib.
According to an informed sources 22-year-old Javad Mir, was under the age of 18 at the time of commotion the crime.
These executions have not been made public by the state media to date.
