Iranian authorities have amputated the hand of a 31-year-old convicted thief in Khorasan Razavi Province on Thursday, October12, 2017.
Prosecutor of Khorasan Razavi announced the implementation of hand amputation, according to the state-run Rokna news agency.
The victim identified as M.N. who was 25 years old at the time of committing the crime had been arrested along with his 22-year-old brother in 2012.
M.M.’s brother was sentenced to 10 years behind bars, 74 lashes and returning the stolen property. Their appeal was rejected by the court.
