Iran: Security forces arrest 320 so-called troublemakers in Tehran crackdown

The Tehran Chief of Police announced the arrest of more than 320 people in Tehran saying that 75 of them were under 20 years of age, according to the state-run Mehr news agency report on November 21, 2107.

“At this stage in the plan to deal with troublemakers, our colleagues managed to arrest more than 320 intruders, mischief-makers, and those who disrupted security and order, after two weeks of gathering intelligence”, Hussein Rahimi said.
The capital’s Chief of Police also said that 142 cafes, 48 gyms and two hangouts were identified during the implementation of this stage in the plan.
