Six tortured political prisoners transferred to Zahedan Prison

Six political prisoners identified as Mohammad Saleh Shahdadzehi, 30 year old Farooq Anvari, 40-year-old Idris Jamshidzehi, 30-year-old Abdolaziz Sotvan, 27-year-old Mahmoud Sotvan, and 28-year-old Hashem Zardkouhi who is a former bank employee were transferred to Zahedan Prison after nine months of torture at a detention center run by the Ministry of Intelligence.

The political prisoners were arrested in June 2017 in Iranshahr.

According to an informed source, the prisoners were subjected to various tortures, including de-nailing (pulling out their fingernails) and flagellation on their body and soles of their feet during their nine months of detention.
