More than 21 days after the arrest of seven civil rights activists following the recent protests, there is still insufficient information on their condition. Saeed Eghbali, 22, was arrested on February 1 after intelligence agents stormed his home. He was transferred to Section 209 in Evin Prison. The prisoner has been denied visits with his family and lawyer. The mother of another activist, Mahmoud Massoumi, 22, said that her son had not recently contacted her and that he is still being interrogated.
There is also no new information on the condition of Saied Seifi Jahan, Daryoush Zand and Shima Babaie, the other defendants in this case who are detained in Section 209 in Evin Prison.
