At least 10 men and women were arrested on March 3, for attending a mixed party in Abadan, southwestern Iran.
At midnight on March 3, police officers of Precinct 13 were informed of a mixed gender party in the Tayeb area of Abadan. The agents were quickly dispatched to the party and witnessed that 10 young men and women had pulled down the shutters of a store and were holding a party. The 10 men and women were detained after judicial coordination and were referred to the judiciary. The store was also shut down, the state-run IRNA news agency reported on March 4, 2018.
