Iran: Young Baluch directly targeted and wounded for carrying bags of rice

Abdul Wahed Reisi, son of Faghirdad, was wounded on March 28 after security forces in the Sarbug Base opened fire on him in Sistan and Baluchestan. He was taken to the ICU of Nik Shahr Hospital. “Reisi had 10 bags of rice with him and agents shot him at close range. The bullet hit his leg,” an informed source said. “He is in critical conditions due to severe bleeding and is currently hospitalized in the ICU of Nikshahr Hospital,” the source added.

In yet another case a Kurd porter identified as Saman Saberi, 23, from Baneh, Iranian Kurdistan Province was shot and injured by the state security forces.

At least two porters were shot dead by Iran’s Security Force and two others were wounded during the 10 first day of Persian new year.
