Iran: Companies shut down in Iran for advertising products on satellite channels
A number of credible and well-known companies in Iran who provided money to Farsi satellite channels via advertisements were closed down, according to the state-run Tasnim news agency report on August 5, 2017.
“These companies paid large sums of money to buy Turkish TV series to advertise their products and were shut down on orders of judicial officials”, an informed source said.
“They have been summoned to court to answer questions about their charges”.
“One of the heads of these companies is wanted for his widespread financial connection to (satellite TV) channels that are against the Islamic Republic of Iran”, the source added.
