The Statistics Center of Iran, declared the details about the rate of unemployment in youth population aged between15-24 years along with their extent of participation in society.
According to the latest statistics from the Iranian Statistics Center in 2017, the unemployment rate of the population aged between 15-24 years in the provinces shows that, 29.2 percent of the population aged 15-24 years old was unemployed, according to the Tasnim News Agency.
This rate for men and women was 25.4% and 44.2%, respectively. The proportion was 32.3% in urban areas and 22.5% in rural areas, according to the state-run Tasnim news agency on November 24, 2017.
