A young prisoner was hanged on Tuesday June 6, 2017, in Khorramabad Central Prison, western Iran.
Having spent 6 years on death row Homayoun Toulabi, 30, had been transferred to solitary confinement on May 5 in preparation for his execution.
He will be buried on Wednesday.
Iranian authorities continue to carry out executions and other inhuman and un-Islamic punishments during the holy month of Ramadan.
