Amin Afshar Naderi, a Christian convert from Islam, has been recently harassed by prisoners charged with financial crimes.
Incited by the authorities, they assaulted Naderi, using abusive and offensive language.
The prisoner of conscience has also been threatened with new fabricate charges. Judiciary’s inspectors of citizen’s rights on May 7, told him that he is an apostate inherent and must be executed.
Amin Afshar Naderi, is being held in Ward 4 of Tehran’s Evin Prison, in contravention of the principle of segregation of crimes.
He was arrested on August 26, 2016 along with 13 other men and women in Firouzkuh, northern Iran and tried on June 11, on charge of “seeking membership in a house church.”
He has frequently asked for family visit during the past months, however he had only once visited them.
