Prison guards raided Hall 12 of Ward 4 of Rajaei Shahr Prison in Karaj, beating up political prisoners and prisoners of conscience.
The prisoners were subsequently transferred to Ward 10 which was previously under construction. After the execution of Sunni inmates this section was equipped with CCTV and security iron dividers that separate it from the rest of the prison. Political prisoners have protested the forced transfer.
