A death row prisoner of conscience identified as Seyed Jamal Musavi, has been abducted from Rajaii Shahr Prison since August 16, 2017. There is no news available on his fate to this day.
The State Security Forces took the prisoner out of jail under the pretext of taking him to hospital. Seyed Jamal Musavi had never asked for any medical treatment, according to a credible source.
He has not had any contact with his family during the past days and the prison authorities have refused to provide a reply to his family as of yet.
Seyed Jamal Musavi was arrested in 2008 in Sanandaj, capital of the Iranian Kurdistan Province, in western Iran. In 2009 he was sentenced to death for “waging war to God”.
The ruling was upheld by Supreme Court. He has been denied access to legal presentation during the past nine years.
