The Commander of the Shahroud State Security Forces on August 21, 2017, stressed that the SSF would deal with unveiling (women not wearing the obligatory head covering) in cars, according to the state-run Tasnim Website.
“There were 16 car impoundments in the past month because of unveiling”, he said.
Mojtaba Ashrafi said that the SSF were tasked with giving verbal notices to improperly veiled women on the streets and in cars.
“The SSF gave 877 verbal notices (to women)”, he added.
