Mohammad Saber Malek Ra’isi, a Baluchi political prisoner who has spent eight years in jail in the Central Ardabil Prison, has been denied the right to call his family because of a letter he wrote in support of hunger striking political prisoners in Gohardasht Prison in Karaj. Mohammad Saber Malek Ra’isi was arrested at the age of 17. In a letter to Ms. Asma Jahangir last year, he detailed the torture he endured and threats of being executed while in prison.
