A woman identified as N.A. was executed in Zanjan on charges of murder on September 19, 2017.
According to the Justice Department of Zanjan province, Hassan Mozaffari announced the execution of a woman identified as N.A. He stated that the sentence was carried out on the morning of Tuesday Sep 19, 2017 in the central prison of Zanjan, the state-run Mehr news agency reported the same day.
This is the 81st woman executed during Rouhani’s presidency.
