Maryam Faraji, a graduate student of International Management and the financial manager of a company in Shahriar, was once arrested on January 2, during Dec/Jan protests and was detained for ten days under interrogation in the Intelligence Ministry Ward 209 in Evin Prison before she was freed on bail.
The initial trial of student activist Maryam Faraji was held on April 8, 2018, at the 28th Branch of the Revolutionary Court presided by Ahmadzadeh. Another woman activist, Sepideh Farhan a young woman who was arrested during Dec/Jan demonstrations in Tehran and was recently freed on bail, was sentenced to six years in prison. She was informed on July 7, 2018 that the Branch 26 of the Revolutionary Court had sentenced her in absentia to six years in prison on June 24, 2018.
