Mohammad Reza Haddadi was born in 1988, and was sentenced to death at 15 for a robbery that led to murder.
During initial investigations on October 30, 2003, he admitted to robbery and murder but eight days later on November 7, he wrote in a letter to court that one of the other suspects had bribed him into accepting the charges due to his age. He said that he did not play a part in the murder.
