Twenty two inmates including a juvenile in Hamedan Central Prison, west of Iran, are facing imminent threats of execution.Their sentences have been upheld by Iran’s judiciary.
In at least one documented case one of the inmates by the name of Keyvan Hassani was arrested for a crime committed while he was under the age of 18.
The prisoners, especially the death row inmates, are reportedly subjected to mistreatment in this facility with about 2500 inmates.
