Iran: Prisoner of conscience goes on hunger strike, protesting authorities’ harsh treatment

Prisoner of conscience Navid Khanjani, was transferred to solitary confinement on August 15, 2017. This happened after the Baha’I prisoner staged a hunger strike protesting continued detention of political prisoners in the high security hall 10 of Rajaie Shahr Prison, where is equipped with CCTV and security dividers that separate it from the rest of the prison.
Mardani, the head of this prison has threatened the inmates with solitary confinement if they go on hunger strike to protest the existing condition.
