Two underage prisoners were hanged in Kerman Prison

Two underage prisoners were hanged in Kerman Prison, central Iran, despite attempts by lawyers and civil society activists.
The victims names were disclosed as Shamsollah R, 23, from Sirjan, south-central of Iran, and Arman Bahrasemani, born in February 1997 and only 16 at the time of the crime.
Despite international conventions banning the execution of minors, the Iranian regime’s so-called laws permits the execution of boys from the age of 15 and girls from the age of 9.
