Iran: Hunger-striking prisoner in dire health condition

National security prisoner Reza Samiei is currently on his 39th day of his hunger strike demanding medical leave and reviewing his case. However, authorities are refusing to reply to his requests.
He is facing serious health concerns and suffering from a sharp drop in blood pressure due to his ongoing hunger strike. He can barely walk as he is experiencing numbness in his feet.
His health condition would be more deteriorated if authorities continue refusing to his demands.
He was arrested and sentenced to 5 years behind bars for “disclosing the 3,000,000,000 Billion Dollar corruption by Iranian officials” and “collaborating with a hostile government.”
Samiei has been serving his 4th year of his prison time in Tehran’s Evin Prions.
