Political prisoners in Rajaie Shahr Prison in Karaj have gone on hunger strikes in protest to their transfer to Ward 4 Section 10 which is completely isolated from other sections in this prison. Their families have also reported that they have been banned from seeing them for the past two weeks. Some of these prisoners have been identified as Reza Akbari Monfared, Saied Masouri, Abolghasem Fouladvand, Hassan Sadeghi, and Jafar Eghdami.
