Ali Jalalian, the father of political prisoner Zainab Jalalian, who has been imprisoned since 2008, said that the condition of her daughter’s eyes were not good but that she was deprived of hospital treatment.
Mr. Jalalian said that she was neither allowed to go to the hospital nor is granted a medical leave.
The 35-year-old prisoner has been sentenced to life imprisonment and is detained in Khoy prison, in one of the cities in East Azerbaijan Province. Jalalian has been banned from a prison leave for the past 10 years.
