Gohardasht Prison authorities have put pressure on political prisoners in Section 10 by closing the prison shop in the past three days to prevent prisoners from shopping.
This is while all the personal and collective belongings of these prisoners were stolen by security guards on July 30 in Section 12 and they now lack their minimum living needs in the Section.
According to reports, the political prisoners in this Section are also banned from being informed of outside news and even domestic government newspapers are not given to them.
Prisoners are also suffering from lack of oxygen and lack of air purification due to the closure and welding of all openings in the section. Notably, a number of the older prisoners are suffering from respiratory and cardiac diseases.
