The victims are identified as Hamzeh Lashani and Mehdi Kohzadi. Iranians angry over rising food prices and inflation protested today, December 30, 2017 all across the country.
Iran however, reacted the nationwide uprising with deploying oppressive forces.
Los Angeles Times quoted Iran’s semi-official ISNA news agency on December 28, 2017 as saying that people have been detained following protests in a major city over price hikes.
The Washington Post reported the same day that protesters arrested in Iran after rally against price hikes.
