The State police raided a night party, arresting 60 people including 22 young men and 38 women in northeastern Khorasan Razavi Province, the state-run IRNA news agency reported on March 9, 2018.
“Following the news of a mixed gender party in Shahnameh Boulevard, after judicial coordination and observance of religious and legal standards, the location was inspected by the Moral Security Police,” Hassan Heidari the Political-Security Assistant to the province Prosecutor said.
“During the operation, 22 men and 38 women with improper attire were arrested while quantities of alcoholic beverages, DJ and lighting equipment were seized, and 20 vehicles were also impounded,” Heidari added.
