On Tuesday, November 4, 2025, the 93rd week of the “No to Execution Tuesdays” campaign is being held in 54 prisons as the government’s execution machine has accelerated, with at least 76 prisoners executed in just the first 12 days of the Persian month of Aban (i.e. since October 23, 2025). In this week’s statement, campaign members, citing recent UN reports on the widespread violation of the right to life in Iran and the growing “No to Execution” outcry among various segments of the population, have called on families and the general public in Iran not to remain silent in the face of this slaughter and to confront this state-sanctioned crime.

The “No to Execution Tuesdays” Campaign Continues into its 93rd Week in Fifty-Four Different Prisons
We begin the 93rd week of the campaign as the religious fascist regime’s execution machine moves forward, unchecked and at full speed.
Following a week-long strike by prisoners in Ward 2 of Qezel Hesar Prison, executions continue to proceed at a rapid pace, especially in other prisons across the country. So much so that in just the first 12 days of (the Persian month of ) Aban , they have executed at least 76 prisoners.
Conversely, the cry of “No to Execution” is being heard from various parts of the country. Last week, retirees in Kermanshah also chanted “No to Execution” during their protests. They chanted: “Carrying out the death penalty is a betrayal of the Quran,” “An Iran without executions,” and “Morality patrol and execution decrees must be abolished!”
Last week, the UN Special Rapporteur on Iran, Ms. Mai Sato, and the Chair of the International Fact-Finding Mission, Ms. Sara Hossain, addressed the Third Committee of the UN General Assembly, highlighting the widespread violation of the right to life in Iran and the secret executions, of which only 8 percent are reported by official sources.
Members of the “No to Execution Tuesdays” campaign in fifty-four different prisons continue to stand strong against executions. They call on all prisoners, especially those on death row, not to remain silent in the face of this cruel sentence. They also urge families and the people of Iran not to let this slaughter continue in silence, and to confront this state-sanctioned crime by publishing the names of those sentenced to death and by crying out “No to Execution” in every possible way in the streets and alleys of the cities.
On Tuesday, November 4, 2025, for the ninety-third week of the “No to Execution Tuesdays” campaign, prisoners in the following fifty-four prisons will be on hunger strike:
