The head of the Cyber Police in Golestan Province said that Cyber Police experts identified a channel on social media called “Gorgan Majazi”.
“Some of the activities of the administrators of this challenge were calling for a mannequin challenge for ladies without the hijab and inciting young users to make videos to publish on this channel”.
“In light of the sensitivities of the subject, two of the main managers of the channel were identified and arrested,” he added.
“Users who break the norms on social media and carry out deeds that are against customs and traditions will be held accountable in the face of the law”, he stressed. (Cyper Police official website – Jun. 1, 2017)
