The International Volleyball League games, hosted by Iran, will start from next week. However, women have been banned from buying tickets.
The website for ticket purchase warns users before ticket buying that the “ticket quota for ladies and gentlemen is completely separate and there is no way to switch the quotas. Those who buy from the other quota (woman who buy men’s tickets) will be prevented from entering the stadium.” Those who went to the website from the commencement of ticket sales saw this message: “Unfortunately lady’s shares have finished”.
